COLIN FLEMING yesterday captured the British Satellite Masters title with one of the best wins of his career.

Fleming, from Linlithgow, beat Scottish No.2 Alan Mackin 2-6 7-5 6-4 to lift the singles crown in Sheffield.

It was his first tournament triumph since he beat Australian Alun Jones in the LTA Satellite event last August.

The 21-year-old had gone into the event unseeded and ranked 432 in the world - more than 100 places below Mackin.

But he continued to display the form that had seen knock out Sergei Bubka in the second round and whitewash second seed Laurent Recouderc 6-0 6-0 in the semi-final.
